In 2005 Itella NLC-Khimki national logistics park was named the best logistics complex at CRE Awards.
Construction of Itella NLC-Khimki began in May 2002 at a 12.7 ha site located at Leningradskoye motorway 7 km from the Moscow Ring Road. In spring 2004, the first stage of the warehouse complex with high-bay storage was commissioned. .
The park’s territory can be conveniently accessed from Vashutinskoye, Mezhdunarodnoye and Leningradskoye motorways, there also is a railway connection to the Khimki railway station.
The park includes a large assembly area allowing for simultaneous handling of up to 72 trucks, as well as a spacious parking lot for 460 freight cars.
